I am on a MISSION to get this TEAM series finally finished!

 

We have covered that T = Trust, E = Empathy, A = Accommodation and now it's time to talk MISSION! (That's what the M stands for in our little acronym here!)

 

I love the word MISSION because creates a great deal of emotion just by saying it, no matter what context it is used in. My nine year old daughter, Grace, was on a MISSION today to allow Dad to give her a cookie before supper time!  (She was tough! But Dad was tougher...this time anyway :-))

 

Our business allows for each of us to be on a MISSION and the beautiful thing about it is that each personality color can choose what mission they are most comfortable with! Shaklee is very UNIQUE in that we have such a wide scope of business that we can provide this foundation for each one of us! Let's take at each color type:

 

Yellows will usually go after the 'greater good' mission by becoming passionate about getting the toxins out of our homes, or planting trees or our environment as a whole. The obesity epidemic is a great mission to sink our teeth into. (Pun intended)  And this whole notion of prevention as opposed to treatment thing is a perfect mission with today's healthcare issues! (PS Yellows: Make sure to take care of yourself too while you save the world. Sort of like how the airlines ask you to put your mask on first before assisting others!)

 

Green personality types tend to gravitate toward a 'personal security' mission.  The thought of creating a business that is good for others AND can create a residual income security blanket, allows a Green person to better plan for their future. Not knowing or not having control of the future will drive them to build a business they can count on! No surprises here for this group please. They have specific plans and are on a mission to secure them!!

 

Blue's have a life long mission to see how much fun they can squeeze out of any endeavor they find themselves in.  They see the 'financial' mission that can create a lifestyle of fun and freedom! The time and the money to do lots of fun stuff! What more could a Blue ask for?! Don't expect them to have a bank account as large as their Green counterpart, after all, 'you can't ride your 401K!!'

 

Red's are on a mission to find a mission! And when they find one, look out! Nothing can create more force than a Red on a MISSION! Our business allows them to have no limits, no restrictions and no one to answer too but themselves.  Best of all for a Red is that this one is worth winning!!

 

What is your personal mission?? Do you have one? If you don't, GET ONE!!  Think about what trips your trigger, floats your boat, lights your bulb, puts gas in your tank, rattles your cage, puts a fire under your ... enough already. Just do it!

 

And then, be willing to accept each others missions and motives for building a business as they are probably going to be different from your own! No matter what your personal mission is, remember that TOGETHER, much more can be accomplished as a TEAM than anyone of us alone can get done!  Plus, it makes living in the 'Land of And' a whole lot more fun!
